Feeling sad and home alone tonight, it felt a little weird how my cousin suddenly popped up in YM. We haven't talked for a long while:

She: ARE YOU MARRIED... *of course, the usual start-off question*
Me: no... single pa rin...
She: GOOD SO COME HERE *she's in florida*
She: AND GANDA NAMAN NG FAVORITE KONG COUSIN... *she must be looking at my new display image*
Me: yey! sige sige... punta ako
She: OK...
She: how is everything
Me: i'm good
She: your mom
Me: they're ok
Me: ok kba dyan?
Me: not affected by recession?
She: nope
She: im good
Me: good good
She: i was asked to be part of management but i dont want to move some where
Me: talaga?
Me: wow ha... ikaw na tumatanggi sa promotion ngayon!
Me: nice nice
She: yup i cant afford to move i have a house to pay here in tampa
Me: i wanna see ur house soon
She: ok
Me: i'll visit u
Me: ipon lang ako pamasahe haha
She: ok
She: hey can you believe im 35
Me: omg! seryoso??? haha...
Me: don't worry... u don't look like it
Me: magaganda tayo eh
She: i know he he
She: of course i got it from my dad.. he he
Me: sure sure
Me: hahahaa
She: where do you live..
Me: sa *** **** ako ngayon
She: condo..
Me: yeah
She: good for you rich ka na ha
She: social status is so high cousin
Me: hahahaha
Me: oo parang ikaw!
Me: i'll see u soon, i hope!
She: well keep in touch ok and take care of yourself, you deserve it.. i'm so proud of you... i wish lola is still alive... i remember her all the time... i miss her!
Me: yeah wish she can see us now... u take care din dyan!
She: i love you cousin.. if you need me you know my number.
Me: yup yup... i love u too!!!
She: bye
Me: bye

It's such a short chat but it warmed my heart. We never said we loved each other before. Ever. Distance makes the hearts grow fonder indeed. So I'm posting it here to hopefully keep it forever.

It's nice how the universe reminds us that we're loved.
What's nicer is, sometimes, it does that just when we need it most. :)
