sad sad saturday

On my way home yesterday, the cab driver told me about the stampede incident at Ultra. He even turned on the radio for me so I could hear the news report. How sad! I had no idea people were that desperate for quick get-rich schemes.

Sometimes it is better (and safer) to work for what you want than to chase after Lady Luck. Having said that, I now feel less resentment about going to work on a Saturday night.
