This is my life...

My book...

My story...

I will no longer let anyone else write it;

nor will I apologize for the edits I make.

-Steve Maraboli-

eavesdropping

Last night, I was pretending to be asleep so Hubby would change Peanut's dirty diaper when I heard him whisper to his son, "I will always going to be here for you, buddy. Even if you don't need me anymore."

Their father-and-son moments like this never cease to pull on my heartstrings. It amazes me how Peanut, at two months old, already knows to wait for his Dad to come home on his every lunch hour. He relishes on their "conversations", always smiling and cooing for him, and making it very hard for his Dad to leave and go back to work.

So last night, I had to pretend to not be in tears while pretending to be sleeping. It's tough to be a mom!
